Hello World? Or Hello AI?

2 min read

This is my very first post, and I decided to create this blog/website to share some of my experiences from over 10 years in software development. I should have started this website earlier, but now, with AI and so many exciting developments happening, I thought this would be a great opportunity to share not only my experiences but also my opinions and insights about AI and its impact on our careers.

Who Am I?

You can call me Strand. I've been working as a Full-Stack Software Engineer for around 10 years, and I've had the opportunity to work at different companies and in various industries—from large web portals with millions of pageviews per month to FinTech, EdTech, and many other types of businesses.

In some companies, I played the role of Technical Lead; in others, I was an Engineering Manager; and in some, I worked as a Full-Stack Engineer specialist.

I began developing software when I was 13 years old. I was a very curious kid, always trying to understand how video games worked behind the scenes. Eventually, I decided to learn C/C++ and experimented with many different languages before finally earning my Computer Engineering degree and settling into what I do today. More specifically, web development became my main focus.

What Can You Expect from This Space?

To be completely honest, I'm not even sure whether to call this a blog or a website. "Website" sounds too professional, like a news portal with editors and so on, while "blog" feels too personal. I don't want to use overly formal language here, but at the same time, I will share a lot of software development content, tips, lessons learned, and many other topics to keep you up to date with everything related to a tech career.

Either way, if you ended up on this post and have read this far and want to join this journey, welcome aboard!
